Committee Meeting
Attendance: Dan Snow, Committee Chair; Sue Graff, Committee

Carney, Scout; Deb Carney, Secretary.
Eagle Scout Project: Ty Carney
presented his proposal for his Eagle Project. The project included
cleaning up the fence line of cedar trees and other foliage on the
property of the Izaak Walton League and
straightening the fence line using existing wire and fence posts. Dan Shattil made a motion to except Ty's
Proposal with suggested improvements. Jeff seconded. The motion passed
unanimously.
Minutes: The August Minutes were reviewed.
Sue made a motion to accept the minutes as amended; Jim seconded.
Motion passed unanimously.
Treasurer's Report: Dan presented report. A
tentative list of campers for the Waubonsie Camp out
was amended with additional Scouts being add.
Deb made a motion that Webelos and their parents
would not be charged for the Waubonsie Campout.
The Troop would pay for the activity because it is a recruiting event.
Sue seconded. Motion passed unanimously. Susan made a motion to
accept the Troop 25 Fee Schedule and Fee/Refund Policy with minor changes.
Donna seconded. Motion passed unanimously. The policy will be handed out
at Court of Honor. Deb made a motion to accept the Treasurer's report.
Jim seconded. Motion passed unanimously
Advancement: All awards have been picked up for the
September Court of Honor. Court of Honor is
Scoutmaster's report: Tom Rolfes was not able to
attend. At his requested we discussed: 2008 Pinewood Derby the idea
of adding a Car Show was well received, many details to be worked out.
The suggestion of the District to add a race for cars that did not meet
requirements for a Pinewood Derby car was rejected. No motions nor voting, just opinions! Mark Roper will
be in charge of Summer Camp 2008. He will try to reserve July 13-19 with
an estimate of 40 Scouts/adults attending. Venture Crew: it was suggest
that a hand out be put together with important facts regarding a crew. Numbers
needed...possible activities...adult positions needed....
